Time to chill the champagne!!!!

China has sent the next match of referrals and they should be in the hands of our adoption agency next Tuesday. Which means they will be calling us on Wednesday with ALL of Emma's information and picture! Time to start on the nursery, chill the champagne and get ready to hear all about our new daughter!

Moving sucks

Well, we survived the move. The house was unpacked and somewhat put together in 2 days. We LOVE our new house and the neighborhood. The new neighbors all came over and introduced themselves, we even got fresh baked cookies. Our last neighborhood, we would have been lucky to get a half eaten burrito thrown out on the lawn as someone sped by. Needless to say we are extremely tired and still have an entire nursery to put together! Jessica is doing good...things were rough there for a minute....she was scared when the movers busted in the doors to start hauling things away. She kept asking when we were going home. With all the new "things" Santa brought plus all her Christmas gifts I think she's settling in much better. Our doors are offically open to all who would like to visit.

All I want for Christmas is.................

Jessica asked Santa for a little sister and that she be able to practice more patience on the playground! Not quit a smile but much better than screaming bloody murder like last year

What is this a picture of ????

If you're thinking this is a picture of a cute, friendly, cuddly little 2 year old..YOU'RE WRONG. This is the face of the child who started a brawl on the playground when trying to steal a little girls lunch pale. The other little girl ended up bitting Jessica on the lip! As of today her lip is puffy and purple. Anyone with CCAI who is traveling with us to China, fear not..."little Miss WWF" will not be traveling with us...your children will be safe.

Usually video is forbidden in any orphanage. We will consider ourselves lucky if we get a snapshot or 2 of Emma's orphanage. You only have to watch the first few minutes of the video to get an idea of what one looks like.

Referral Update!

China sent referrals (when a family has been matched with their baby) yesterday and guess what..........we're NOT getting our referral this month. China sent referrals for families that were logged-in between April 1st and April 14th. Our log in date was the 19th of April. We already knew this was going to happen. So the good thing, is that we know for sure, without a doubt, willing to bet the house, that we will be getting our referral in January.
