Out of the mouth of a 4yr old

So tomorrow we're packing up and heading to Mexico (Rosarito Beach). Us, the girls and the babysitter, who lives next door. So tonight we were getting in the car to go to a pool party when the babysitter was out getting the mail. The girls went running over to say Hi. It was when we were about to get in the car when Jess said to the babysitter, "Do you have a baby in your tummy?". She covered up her belly and said "no, I'm just fat". Great, Jessica!! I wanted to dig a whole and bury myself right then and there.

As we were coming home from the pool party we headed into the neighborhood and saw the babysitter out for a jog. Guess she took Jessica's comment to heart. Ahhh crap.

So while we're in Mexico if Jessica mysteriously goes missing while being watched by the babysitter, I'll know why.

OK, so I've been neglecting the blogs and I am way behind on what's going on. I know... I went out and got one of those job things to support one of those husband things and because he's a smarty pants and goes to school all the time, I work all the time. So, I have no idea what is happening in the adoption world.

How long after LID till match?

Did the earthquake slow things down even more? I have heard how many families in China lost their only child. I wonder if that slows things down here to make more children available there.

Mr. Nance finally got the call we've been waiting for. He's been accepted with a fellowship to the

PhD Program for Molecular Biology

University of California

Riverside

He starts soon and will be done sometime in 2012-2013
