The Hogettes go Hiking
Rip, roaring and ready to go
My new backpack isn't half bad
Mommy and her cute little hiker
When asked, Hogette #1 said, "Summit or bust"
Along the Summit trail.....quick break for a snack. After all, we call them the Hogettes for a reason
Nance Family
Jessica did awesome. We didn't exactly make it all the way up the Summit trail as it was more than 2 miles and most of it was straight up.
Phil laughed at himself, as he felt weighed down with 60 pounds of pure Hogette. How did he ever used to slap 90 pounds on his back and take 12 teenagers out in the woods for 3 weeks straight? Oh ya, that was 10 years ago.
We decided to stop hiking when Jessica said she wanted "Lamby Pie".....poor kids was a wee bit tired.
Her first time hiking Jessica was good for a little more than 2 miles a good portion was straight up.
Tuckered out Hogettes having yet another snack before heading back home.
We had a blast and are encouraged that we can do this again

I've had three laparscopies, and all of them were quite painful. I too, know people who were up and around on the second day or so. I wanted to slap them. The recovery time is different for every person. Glad you are feeling better.
I'm sorry your lapro was such a pain (no pun intended). I guess Michelle's right. Everyone's different. I did take it easy for 2 weeks but was up walking around within 3 days. I did have excellent meds, but hardly used them. Although when I did, they were niiiiice. :)
Hopefully the worst is behind you.
Hope all is well with your innards and that your pain dimishes quickly.
Cute Hogettes!
Wonderful pics!
Glad things are feeling better and hoping all is well :0)
You look so great for just having surgery. Sorry I did not warn you about the pain, especially the gas pain. There is nothing like it in the world, hence why I waited 11 years to get my last one done. I hope everything is going well for you today and the docs are able to give you some concrete answers and solutions. I have been thinking of you.
Your little hoggettes are quite the hikers. Too cute!
